Terms of service

Kisoasms provides an SMS gateway: software and an Android app that let a customer organization send and receive SMS through Android phones it pairs itself, over a REST API and a web dashboard. During beta the service is provided “as is”, with no uptime guarantee.

The customer is responsible for the phones and SIMs it pairs, for keeping its API keys and devices secure, and for the content of the messages it sends. Sending is limited to recipients who agreed to receive the customer's messages; the acceptable use policy is part of these terms.

Phones send from the customer's own SIMs, so the customer's carrier plan pays the carrier rate for every SMS. Kisoasms charges no per-message fee during beta.

Kisoasms may suspend or terminate organizations or phones that break these terms or the acceptable use policy — for spam, phishing, fraud, impersonation, harassment or illegal content, or for ignoring opt-outs. Either side can end the relationship; termination stops sending immediately.

Customers can request export and deletion of their data at any time by writing from their account email. Received SMS text follows the organization's retention setting (90 days by default, configurable from 1 to 3,650 days); sender and time are kept after the text is deleted.

These terms will change as Kisoasms leaves beta. Material changes come with notice before they take effect; continued use after the notice period means acceptance of the new terms.
